Perhaps everything is pure semantics. I have read Batchelor's “Confessions of a Buddhist Atheist” and is none the wiser about faith or the absence of faith. Having seen "The Unwinking Gaze" made me much less enamored of him, when I had already been questioning his "place" now in the Buddhist hierarchy.
